Some quick tips!
We give a small baggie with rabbit feed pellets for a two days supply if you use the same brand feed. Or the rabbit feed pellets will last a week for transitioning to another brand by more of ours and less of yours, then half & half, then less of our and more of your, so the bunny can wean from one rabbit brand feed to another rabbit brand feed. Babies have unlimited pellets & hay until older.
*FEED MUST HAVE - at least 16% crude protein pellets or more & the first ingredient has to be:
Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal-not middlings. Feed goes bad after 4 months, so check the bag date for freshness!!!!
*HAY MUST BE - Timothy hay-grass, hay will last up to one year fresh.
*Did you know that only pure white rabbit's will either have only: red eyes or blue eyes!
*Please be careful not to hold, grab the baby bunny feet- front & back or press their lungs. This will break their back, and they will die in a day. They are infants, and need to be treated as babies, and played with very very gently until they are a year old.
At any age, holding their feet will snap their back when they kick out, an cause them to die. At any age, putting to much pressure on their rib cage will break their lungs, and cause them to die.
* For warmer weather do not let direct sun shine into the cage, they will over heat fast, and please plan to move the rabbit hutch to a shady area. They will DIE from a heat stroke in less than 10 minutes! Hanging fans are GREAT! you can get the box indoor fans that work fine outside for $16.00 at walmart. Also they may need a warm box with hay to rest in on cold nights. Sitting boards great for time off wire.
*If your bunny gets eating to much hay, and their belly is bloated; and they stop eating, and not moving around much. This will kill your bunny. You must get asap "infant gas relief drops" simethicone 20mg anti-gas drops for human babies. Any brand name or off brand will work; it cost about $4.00. Give as much as you can through out the day(s), the whole bottle until they are better. This will help them go to the bathroom, and get the glob of stuck hay out. This product has saved a many bunnies life- young or old.
**Please note: The sad item of a rabbit is that they only have one way to breath, and that is through their nose. They can not breath through their mouth for an alternative! Air needs to get in & out of their nose in time- not to have a heat stroke.

Our secret and success to raising sweet bunnies!
We bring our baby bunnies to their mother to handle; where most breeders will take the baby bunnies from their mother to handle. All our babies stay together at all times, and during the day we will take them to their moms to be fed & nurtured. Therefore we pick a litter up out of their living cage, and place them in the carrier box to take to their mother. Then we pick them up out of the carrier box and place them in their feeding box for their mother. Then we take them out of the feeding box back into the carrier box, and carry them back to their living cage. Then we take them out of the carrier box back into to their living cage for the day. So after 30 days of this! they are desensitized to the human touch!
This is hard work to connect together all the mom's and all the babe's, and place them together daily! We do this for you to have a more sweeter bunny. Therefore the babies look to us-humans to get to their milk source. Since the rabbit will be with humans most of their lives, we found this seems to help make more of a sociable pet bunny for you!

This is our secret and success to raising sweet bunnies!
We work hard to start them in their first weeks however it is up to you to finish them out. The more time you put into your bunny the more success you will have with your bunny.
Of course rabbits are animals with their own minds, and their own personality. Being each bunny has their own personality that shyness should go away as they get older. With less time with an adult rabbit, and more accessible for human contact by vision or touch, we do try to desensitize them. However again they are animals with their own minds, and precautions need to be taken to minimize scratches by filing those nails down. We suggest infant soft shoes/booties to place on their back feet and front feet will help until you learn how to hold them correctly.
"We believe in raising baby bunnies with the highest quality of care. We try to give them plenty of playtime, balanced nutrition, & interaction. We know each of our bunnies individually, and they know us. From day one we are hands on ensuring each bunny is healthy & happy as can be. Given much attention, the bunnies are highly sociable, friendly, & intelligent pets.
We feel our rabbitry is a special rabbitry due to our strive for a pet friendly more than just showable. Our rabbitry tries to specialize in raising pet bunnies to be more sweeter & friendlier. We enhance this by having all our newborn babies born handled at birth until sold. So they can be easily handled from day one & given a lot of attention. They have playtime for fun that makes an "Exceptional Pet Bunny" or “Very Showable Rabbit”. Our rabbits are purebred with a pedigree, and can be registered.
***Please note purebred and pedigree are not the same. Pedigreed assures the same breed lineage- 3 or more generation’s back, so no other breed is involved. Only genuine pedigree papers can prove the bloodline of a rabbit! So you are guaranteed what you are buying!
There is a difference in a domesticated pet rabbit, and a breeder meat rabbit. The domesticated pet rabbit has a lineage back to the 80’s, so they have been pet-breed to have a milder and not wilder meat-breed, rabbit demeanor. Therefore if you have had a bad experience with some rabbits, it may be due from their lineage line of breeding.
"We believe in raising quality rabbits that can be shown, but show is not the main center of our rabbitry. We raise bunnies for pets, and believe all rabbits are special in their own way as God has designed them. You should not find any of our bunnies in shelters because we always welcome them back if you can no longer keep them.
We do not always agree with the promotion of meat rabbits or disqualifying of certain colors, appearance or size." This sometimes promotes the practice of in-breeding to maintain show qualities, and sometimes promotes breeder to repeatedly breed to find perfection by set standards, and discards the unperfected ones.
We do not raise rabbits for meat. The promotion of meat rabbits could be encourage for mass food production; this food consumption can be for snake food, coon dog chases, humans, etc. Anyway rabbits are more like a guinea pig, and how many people eat rodents!
